Hello, my name is Tania. My spiritual name is Lorilay.
For those who may have come to this page before I have re-written this sharing realizing, oh, I need to actually tell people about myself! So rather than stay in the background I will express a little more.
I was born on March 2nd, 1972 in Albury, NSW, Australia. My parents were farmers and we lived on a farm in the Upper Murray region and along the Murray River. To my great disappointment we moved from the farm when I was 5 and into a nearby city. So it was that my whole family were heartbroken at the move and loss of their dream, resulting for one in my father’s death when I was 12 years old. I Stayed in the city until I finished high school after which the desire to be in the country overrode all desire to go to college or university. I worked with Children in a Pre-school as my first job and in that year discovered books about Permaculture, Organic and Natural Farming and this became my abiding passion, to reconnect with Earth in a different way from my family experience which really only led to loss for all whether for Earth, Nature or for Human.
Although this was not to be realised immediately as I had a lot to understand. I wandered back and forth between my extended family and their farms and lives and between working with children or on orchards or in plant nurseries. I wanted so much a place where I could try out some organic methods and tried to dream this with my extended family. I realised in the end the land was so owned and cursed by humans that I let go of this idea. I also started to let go of the land and in particular the original farm my family on my mum’s side settled generations before. Things started to change.
One family began to grow a plot of Echinacea as the beginnings of trying an alternative type of crop, this time for the medicinal herb companies. Not knowing Echinacea was holding the forgiveness tone at that time it however had a powerful effect. Deep scars within the family and within my self began to surface to be healed that had been silenced for many years and the truth revealed. It seemed that everything was cursed in all relationships between each and with the land as it was all usury based. My mother also let go and passed and left to my sister, brother and I a portion of that original family farm or so it seemed. But she had actually written over the land to another in the family we found and so we walked away from it all, and stepped out of the battle for the ownership of that farm that I had been born into. For the first time in my life I felt freedom. For the first time I was free to expand, open my heart more, forgive and recover my true possibility and purpose this lifetime and that was and is to evolve and support the whole in its evolution. I had begun this by letting go of the control and coming to forgiveness. It was not too long before I was relating to the land in ways that were bringing me great fulfillment and then I found SSOA and joined in 2003.
Being in the school has been a whole other level of understanding of my self, Earth, the land and other people. It has brought forth a relationship with the Mineral kingdom, the kingdom which forms the body of the land, to understand deep ancestral patterns from so long ago. I thank Mila and Oa, Earth, Nature, The Tao and all in the school past and present for assisting to illuminate many lessons. I also am close to the Tree Kingdom, Turtle and Owl. In this journey I am lifting out of the usury and desecration of the Earth and human relationships by coming to forgiveness within of the scars and wounds. This I realise takes a lot of inner work and from my own experience of becoming side tracked or stuck a little extra focus can assist. So for the readings I wish to offer with Earth, Nature and the Heart of The Tao some extra support and focus which can be mutually healing.
